Diamond DA62

Space, efficiency and luxury

The Diamond DA62 carries more passengers over longer distances and faster than any other model in its class. In doing so, it provides the exceptional fuel efficiency, luxury and safety guaranteed by a twin-engine aircraft.

The DA62 is the quintessence of the company's innovative thinking - the aircraft pampers both pilots and passengers. The cabin is comparable in size to a luxury SUV, maximizing space, offering room for up to seven people.

The excellent use of space allows the transport of luggage of large size and weight while maintaining the highest passenger comfort.

Diamond DA62

Power in a beautiful package

The DA62 is a twin-engine aircraft, powered by economical and environmentally friendly Austro Engine AE330 turbocharged diesel engines with 180 horsepower each. This power unit configuration allows the aircraft to perform flight and climb even with one engine running.

It is a safe aircraft, suitable for flight in all weather conditions and at any time of the day or night. The parameters of the propulsion unit are controlled by digital algorithms working in dual computers (FADEC).

Refined to the smallest detail, the airframe offers negligible resistance during flight. A varied palette of exterior paint colors allows to give the DA62 an individual character.

The DA62 cabin can be configured in many ways: 7-passenger, 5-passenger with ample cargo space, and a luxurious 4-passenger with comfortable seats instead of a 3-passenger couch.

Quality for years to come

The DA62 airframe is made entirely of glass and carbon composite. Advanced aerodynamic solutions combined with the latest passive safety technology provide excellent passenger protection. The airframe is durable, easy to maintain and maintains a great appearance for many years.

Glass Cockpit as standard

The DA62 is equipped with Garmin G1000NXi"Glass Cockpit" avionics. The system shows all parameters of flight, engine operation, navigation and communication. The equipment can be enhanced with weather radar, satellite modem or Stormscope. The G1000 NXi, together with the Garmin ESP system, supports the pilot's work in difficult situations.

Security

The anti-icing system prevents the accumulation of ice on the leading edges of the wings and on the propellers - thanks to this the aircraft is FIKI (Flight Into Known Icing Conditions) certified. The DA62 gives you the assurance of safety in all weather conditions and at any time of the day or night.
