The Bell 525 is the world's first civilian helicopter equipped with an electronic fly-by-wire control system. This system replaces traditional mechanical controls, offering smoother and more responsive responses to pilot commands.
The advanced Garmin G5000H avionics system, complemented by two touchscreen controls, significantly affects the level of safety in all conditions, and the flight becomes pure pleasure.
The helicopter is powered by two General Electric CT7-2F1 electronically controlled (FADEC) engines with close to 1,800 horsepower each. In the event of failure of one of them, the Bell 525 has enough power to continue safe flight on one engine.
The Bell 525 is in a class of its own, the only helicopter in the world that is controlled by an electronic fly-by-wire system.
