Making a documentary film is not only a challenge, but also a fascinating journey into the depths of unusual stories and nooks and crannies of human life. Such was the process that accompanied the creation of the documentary "Polish Aviator" - a film telling the remarkable story of Jan Borowski, the founder of JB Aviation, a visionary, aviation enthusiast and a man whose life could serve as a script for many a feature film.

Most of the shooting for the film was carried out at the headquarters of JB Aviation in Konstancin. The place, normally full of dynamics and atmosphere associated with aviation, turned into a professional film set for a few days. In the company, where the sound of aircraft conversations and engines firing up usually resounds, this time one could hear filming commands and the clatter of omnipresent filming equipment.

The production company 312Films was responsible for the film's production, and Olgierd Stasiak took on the role of director and cinematographer. It is thanks to his vision and commitment that it was possible to capture both the atmosphere of the place and the spirit of this unique story. The film also featured several guests who shared their memories and relationships with Mr. Jan. Their stories brought unique color and depth to the documentary, revealing to the audience the multidimensional personality of the protagonist.

Originally, the film was to be a short documentary, but surprising twists and turns in the life of Jan Borowski caused the production to develop into a full-length project. The film is currently in the final stages of post-production, and is scheduled for release in Q2-Q3 2025.
