Madrid, Spain (November 29, 2023) - Bell Textron Inc. announced the signing of purchase agreements for two Bell 407GXis and one Bell 505 helicopters to be sold to JB Investments in Poland, helicopters that will be used primarily for private travel. The purchase of the three machines was celebrated with a signing ceremony at the Bell booth at European Rotors 2023 in Madrid, Spain.
JB Investments is Poland's longest-established distributor of general aviation aircraft and helicopters, founded in 1992. Over the past three decades, we have catered to the rapidly changing needs and aspirations of people whose dream or business necessity is to fly.
"JB Investments provides new and existing Polish operators with Bell helicopter deliveries and comprehensive after-sales services, continuously expanding Bell's presence throughout the region," - Jacinto Monge, Bell's managing director for Europe, said. "JBI has selected the Bell 407GXi and 505 giving its customers the ability to provide seamless corporate and VIP transportation solutions, while reliably transporting passengers to their destinations.
The Bell 407GXi uses a state-of-the-art Rolls-Royce M250-C47E/4 turbine engine with dual-channel FADEC technology, providing exceptional high-temperature and high-altitude performance, fuel efficiency and a cruising speed of 133 knots. In Poland, the 407GXi has gained popularity with the National Police, which recently purchased four additional helicopters from JB Investments (the prime Contractor), bringing the total 407GXi fleet to seven.
Equipped with a robust Safran Arrius 2R engine and dual-channel FADEC system, combined with a state-of-the-art Garmin G1000H NXi avionics suite, the Bell 505 proves its versatility across a wide spectrum of missions. These missions include pilot training, sightseeing flights, corporate transport, utility operations and public safety tasks. In 2021. The European Union's Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) certified the Bell 505 to carry cargo weighing up to 2,000 pounds (907 kg) using a cargo hook, further enhancing the helicopter's impressive performance capabilities.
