Training on the best units

The Military Aviation Academy trains future pilots of the Polish Air Force on aircraft provided by JB Aviation. Specialized training in multi-engine aircraft and IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) flying is conducted on DA42-VI. Several thousand flight hours have so far been performed on this type of unit, confirming its reliability, safety and high training qualities.

The twin-engine Diamond DA42-VI is the most structurally developed version of the popular four-seat Diamond Twin Star DA42 NG with significantly improved performance and aerodynamic improvements. With two Astro Engine AE300 diesel engines of 168 horsepower each and a normal operating weight, the DA42-VI needs 375 meters to take off. The aircraft has a range of just over 2,000 kilometers, with a maximum cruise speed of 190 kts. With its TKS anti-icing system and lightning detector, the Diamond DA42-VI can fly in any weather conditions.
